The Foodie Guide

I have been a secret diner of this guide for almost one year and in that time have reported back to the foodie guide on several occasions and all my reports have been honest and fair. The standard that I have visited has been very high which is good to say in the least. Murray's though are exceptional! The food is superlatively original. Every bite introduced new flavour. It was exquisitely presented and the service was carried out with charm, courtesy and panache! I was a bit disappointed when we first arrived at the location as I didn't realise that the restaurant was part of the hotel but having said that you can't fault the hotel as it too is lovely. The meal in Murray's was well cooked and well presented, we would recommend.

Wow! This pretty much sums up the whole eating experience at this restaurant. I was expecting good after a friend of mine dined here. Living in Towcester it's just down the road but we had never tried it. If you want great food and be served properly then this is it, but dress smartly.

I would like to nominate Murrays as my favourite restaurant. I ate there on a Tuesday with my partner, it was the best meal I've ever had! I had the tasting menu which was outstanding and the service was brilliant.

A bit off the beaten track but well worth visiting. The restaurant and its food second to none. Not really surprised it won this guides award.

This was my first visit to this wonderful restaurant. My partner had promised a great meal and that's exactly what we got. I'm really not surprised that they have an award it is truly well deserved and the evening was made even better as my partner proposed to me and after such a wonderful meal how could I say no!
