The Bricklayers Arms is an 18th century, ivy clad and flint built listed building, tucked away in the tiny Hertfordshire village of Flaunden which can be found at the end of the winding lanes that snake between Chipperfield and Latimer.

A picturesque pub in a beautiful location often featured in film and tv series. You are sure to receive a warm welcome from one of the Michaels family where you can enjoy the atmosphere with the pubs low wooden beams and real log fire.

Over the past five years, The Bricklayers Arms has certainly gained an excellent reputation for its English traditional and French Fusion menu created by its award winning chef, Claude Paillet. You can enjoy the same menu throughout the restaurant and pub seven days a week with dishes ranging at lunchtime from their famous smoked fish plate (all smoked on the premises), home made terrines to their traditional cod in Tring ale batter; 21 day aged fillet Steaks and local fillet of pork bred from Worcestershire black spotted pigs.

You'll always find a selection of fresh fish dishes and vegetarian options on the menu.
