The Foodie Guide

I liked this restaurant straight away because of the setting but was equally impressed by the food. The standard is extremely high but a shame it's not open in the evenings.

I do take my role as a secret diner very seriously and it would be great to do this for a living. We have been to a number of restaurants in this guide and most like this one have been great. I would recommend a visit, it scored well. Secret Diner. Posted 17/1/11.

My wife and I are regular visitors to the house and its grounds and always try to fit in a meal here, and yes! Yet another lovely lunch. Posted Jan 2010.

This is a must visit restaurant, lovely food in a nice setting. If you go for lunch you can take a walk around the gardens.

After visiting the various small studio and galleries we had a lovely lunch here, would thoroughly recommend. We had never even heard of Claydon house until seeing it in last years guide.
