Nice puds.
Great meat and nice puddings but a bit pricey! A.H. 12/8/11.
What a lovely meal
Four of us visited this restaurant recently, what a lovely meal I was quite surprised. D.C. 12/8/11.
Lovely grub
Lovely grub and a good pint. TasteBuddy, Posted 10/5/11.
Try this place!
Try this place, just a short drive out in the country free from the hussle and bussle of M.K. Great food, great imagination. Taste Buddy, Posted 30/4/11.
Enjoyable
I don't think the decor matches up to the lovely food. I've been three times and although not a huge meat eater have absolutely loved the bourbon steak. The chips are also delicious. The service has always been ok, not outstanding.
Pleasant evening
We had a very pleasant evening here. Starters and mains were all as explained on the menu, however, I do prefer my plate to be hot. Dessert did leave a bit to be desired as the chocolate torte had hard edges as it cooled. We were not offered coffee or liquers.
Would visit again
Had no complaints and would recommend to friends.
Secret Diner Feedback

Consistently High Quality
Excellent Food standard, good service. Consistently high quality from groups of 25 plus to a quiet evening for two. Posted 25/1/2010.
Special place
The ability to select your own fresh, raw meat or fish from this restatuant makes this quite a special and unique place. We enjoyed our 25th Wedding Anniversary here. The restaurant was quite quiet (Tuesday evening), but we were given individual and personal attention. We were able to select our cut of meat from the butcher-style counter, as well as the weight of meat and the way in which it was to be cooked. The starter and dessert did not disappoint either. The wine list was extensive, including a range of champagnes and sparkling wines.
