Tucked away in one of England’s prettiest villages, Eversholt just outside of Woburn, is The Green Man Pub and Restaurant. Owned and run by James and Louise Freeman, this pub is becoming known as a “Hidden Gem”.

Now a freehouse, it was refurbished throughout in October 2008. The Green Man has carefully retained the charm of a local pub whilst bringing it into the 21st Century.
The refurbishment uncovered fireplaces that were previously boarded up and created an intimate restaurant tucked away from the bar area and overlooking the cricket pitch and church.

The menu demonstrates their philosophy of “Traditional with a twist”. Chef James creates classic dishes all made from scratch – from the Roast Ham & Free Range Eggs to Salmon & Crayfish Fishcakes. The specials board often features fresh fish including Scallops & Black Pudding to Beer Battered Fish & Chips. Watch out for Sunday Roast – it is hard to be beaten!
James also offers outside catering as “The Hogman”. He can cater for your special event either at The Green Man or a location of your choice. Offering freshly cooked Pig or Lamb Roast, all sourced locally, plus side salads and even a Real Ale bar!

With a large patio garden, James & Louise look forward to welcoming new and old customers to sample the ales, enjoy the wines and taste the menu.
