The Navigation Inn is a family run pub restaurant that sits alongside the Grand Union Canal between Cosgrove and Castlethorpe, just a ten minute drive from Central Milton Keynes. Recently voted in the top ten waterside pubs in the UK in a Sunday Telegraph poll, a visit here will not disappoint, whether it’s a quick pint or a three course meal that you’re after.
Since the Cameron’s took over in 2007, The Navigation Inn has quickly gained a reputation for serving excellent quality food. All the food at The Navigation Inn is freshly prepared in their kitchen using locally sourced produce wherever possible. The Navigation Inn also supports the Wolverton based charity Growing People who supply organically grown fruit and vegetables. It’s not just the food that’s fantastic at The Navigation Inn, all the staff will do everything possible to ensure you enjoy your time there.
The Navigation Inn has some exciting news! Due to open in winter 2009 is Cameron’s. Head Chef Dan Cameron is very passionate about producing high quality cuisine and is aiming high with AA rosettes and Michelin stars in his sights. Cameron’s will be a separate fine dining restaurant to run alongside the bar menu at The Navigation Inn. Having trained at Leith’s School of Food and Wine he secured a chefs position at Gordon Ramsay’s Maze restaurant; the food at Cameron’s is bound to impress.
All in all, The Navigation Inn is a fantastic place to go if you want an amazing meal, good service and one of the best views in the area. We thoroughly recommend booking to avoid any disappointment.
