This increasingly popular village pub has received a new lease of life over the past couple of years since owners Ian and Claire Estick arrived in 2004. Set in the old village of Simpson it is only 5 minutes from Central Milton Keynes but away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre on the banks of the Grand Union Canal.

This independent, family run pub and restaurant, offers a relaxing, friendly atmosphere with a great selection of fine wines, real ales and superb food prepared from the freshest ingredients.

With both traditional bar fare, à la carte dining with a wide range of weekly specials (and when the weather permits) canal side BBQ’s you can find something on the menu to suit your mood. Their famous “Bulleit Bourbon” steak, fresh fish, poultry and far from boring vegetarian options, the menu mirrors the seasons to take full advantage of the best locally produced produce for the time of year.

Being independently owned The Plough has a reputation for offering excellent bespoke celebration menus and party venue for all budgets and occasions.

If you have not seen the transformation from the Si-Fi world of what used to be Trekkers to the now light, modern destination pub which is The Plough a visit is highly recommended. If you’ve experienced the welcome, quality of food and service recently we know you will be visiting again soon!!
