You must go here!
I've been very fortunate in my career to visit some great restaurants and now in a similar roll with a well known, high street supermarket I can recommend this great restaurant, good beer too! D. P. Posted 30/6/10.
Rod Stewart
A couple of us went here for just a drink. We then decided to eat! I have to admit I was impressed. The food was tasty and reasonably priced. I got chatting to a local at the bar who told me that years ago Rod Stuart played one of his first gigs upstairs. Posted 15/4/10.
Delivers every time
One of my fave places to eat; I regret that I no longer live near enough to eat there regularly. Always worth a visit. The food is impeccable and there's always something on the menu to tickle your fancy. Fresh ingredients prepared to a high standard. Tasty wine list too. Great service; friendly staff and customers. Beautiful little suntrap terrace for those rare sunny days as well. Go and see for yourself!
A 'Must Go' Restaurant
I visit The Wollaston Inn as often as I can - it is without doubt my favourite restaurant whatever the occasion! The menu is always changing which means you get to sample new and delicious dishes depending on whats in season.
I've never been disappointed with the quality of food at this restaurant, and the presentation/attention to detail makes any meal here special - as a result I'm always looking for an excuse to go again!
Gorgeous food!
There is always something for everybody on the menu, whether it is lunch time or dinner time. The monday night offer is really good value for money but the quality of both the service and the food is never comprimised. Definately worth a visit! I recommend the day time burgers!
Very good food
As soon as u walk in the front door the calm ambience hits you and i just stood there and thought to myself this is going to be good. As we browsed the menu we were saying to ourselfs wat simple food which all sounded very nice and i couldn't choose what to eat. As i finally ordered the food came out and was beautifully presented and the waitors were very helpfull. 5/5 for the taste and presentation. A very enjoyable evening and would reccomend to anybody.
a must........
i recenly decided to listen to my friends and dined at the wollston inn, and im glad i did. we arrived to a busy restaurant which is always a good sign and seated by are friendly waitress. the menu has a good range of food and i straight away was drawn so the pigeon with bacon popcorn. it didnt disappoint, the pigeon was cooked perfectly and the popcorn was a really fun idea. for mains i had the duck trio which was lovely and tender with duck crackling which was amazing, i asked for more. we both finished the meal with banoffee knickebocker glory which made us boith feel like kids again, and we liked the glass clean. wollaston inn really didnt disappoint and i would recommend to anyone.
Simply Wonderfull
Having seen this restaurant in the foodie my wife and I decided to give it a try. Generally speaking we have been pleased with most (but not all) of the restaurants that are shown, this restaurant was no disappointment.
The food was simply wonderful, great choice, well cooked and well presented.
