Beckworth Emporium is a contemporary plant centre housing a Food Hall, Produce Market, Garden Nursery and Restaurant which, since its opening in April 2009, has attracted thousands of visitors who have branded it a “truly unique shopping experience.”
The Food Hall and Deli is home to Hambleton Farms – a family-run traditional farmers, butchers and game dealers supplying high-quality traditional fresh meat, game, home-made pork pies and speciality pies, home-cooked meats, hand-made sausages, haslets and much more.
A large range of high-quality ready meals and shortcrust pastry pies are also available alongside a wide selection of international, national and local cheese.
Fresh bread is baked daily on site and on Wednesdays fish lovers will delight in fresh catches from our Grimsby fishmonger.
We’ve divided our Restaurant into three atmospheric areas, each individually designed including table-service offering a wide choice of delicious wholesome food using Beckworth ingredients. The stunning garden atrium is ideal for enjoying coffee, lunch and afternoon teas surrounded by our favourite colourful plants, or if the sun is shining, visitors can sit outside in the garden terrace.
The Produce Market provides an endless selection of delicious fruit and vegetables, some of which are grown on site. This fabulous display is sold alongside a range of groceries, flowers and plants.
We work hard for you to select the best of seasonal produce – offering real taste and value for money. As you pass through, you will find a selection of grocery stalls – teas and coffees, pastas and rices, cakes and biscuits, crisps and snacks and even beers and wines.
We pride ourselves on offering top-quality local produce, when possible, from suppliers who have a focus on great taste and a passion for good food.
Wander into our Garden Nursery and you’ll discover a stunning array of colourful, seasonal plants, garden essentials and our container collection.
The majority of plants available are grown in our nursery enabling us to offer an adventurous range of top-quality bedding plants at very competitive prices.
These plants can be used to create a fantastic selection of beautiful hanging baskets and planted containers, brilliant for brightening up any patio and they make wonderful gifts. And if you’re a novice, our expert grower Peter Taylor and the team are on hand to offer specialist tips and advice.
