The Brown family has farmed in and around Bedfordshire for many years, and three generations are now involved in the business. The family has always taken great pride in growing crops and rearing cattle, pigs and turkeys, so they decided to open a shop at Manor Farm, in the beautiful village of Stagsden.
The shop has now been trading for four and a half years and has recently been renovated and expanded, allowing the Browns to offer a greater range of locally grown produce to an ever increasing customer base.
Traditional breeds of cattle, pigs and turkeys are reared for the shop using home-grown grain where possible, whilst lambs and free range chickens are reared locally.
Game is also available when in season. All sausages, burgers and ready meals are prepared on site and you will also be able to buy local vegetables, cheeses, hams, organic flour, fresh bread, gluten-free cakes, free range eggs, local milk, ice-creams and tempting accompaniments.
In the run up to Christmas - a very busy time of the year for Browns - you will be able to pre-order your home-reared turkey and any other meats, or choose from our wide range of hampers which make for excellent presents.
So if you are looking for something different and enjoy good quality produce, please pay the shop a visit, where our helpful staff will offer you a warm welcome.
