Following 18 exciting years running Oxfordshire’s famous restaurant boat, “Rosamund The Fair”, the owners, Tim Matthews and Sophia Goodford, have transformed The Carriage House Restaurant into an opulent dining experience that’s hard to resist.
Head Chef/Proprietor Tim Matthews and his team use only the very best, carefully sourced produce, offering you beautiful modern British cuisine. The finest meats from the local butcher in Padbury, fresh game from the Claydon Estate and seasonal fruit and vegetables from the walled kitchen garden at Claydon are used to create delicious and imaginative dishes for you to savour.
The menus change regularly with the restaurant open for lunches every day except Thursdays and Fridays, open for dinner every Saturday evening, dinner for 10 or more any evening and for a Special Event every month.
